Monthy Art Club

Over the past few months, especially while working through my 30-day painting challenge, I kept hearing the same thing from friends and people following along: “I wish I could paint.” The truth is, many of us don’t have time to drive somewhere for an art class, but we do have small pockets of time where we can learn something new and try something creative. That idea is what inspired A Wandering Palette Art Club.

Each month I share one of my paintings not just as a small reference print you can collect, but also as a creative study you can try yourself. Inside the kit you’ll find a watercolor practice card with a light outline guide on one side and a blank space on the other so you can paint your own version, along with a personal letter about the artwork and a QR code that gives you early access to the full tutorial video so you can paint along whenever it fits your schedule.

about me

I’m Joy. I’m an artist who learns by watching, trying, and getting it wrong often enough to learn something.

I started painting again in 2023 and share the process as it happens — no lessons, no formulas, just the work.

If you learn by watching instead of being told what to do, this place will make sense.

A close-up of a small, black and gray kitten lying on a soft, pink, plush blanket, looking at the camera with green eyes.
Small black dog with pointy ears sitting on a wooden deck outside, with a blurred background of trees and a house.
