Route 66: Small Towns and Hidden Gems

I traveled through Illinois and checked off a few gems along Route 66. There are a number of stops along the mother road to see and I tried to stop at as many as I could, but quickly found myself exhausted and was looking forward to relaxing at the RV park. Travel days, seem to wear me out faster than I would have thought. Traveling quickly is not the way to live in an RV.
