Ohio: Backroads, Friends & Wine

Letting my friend Rae drive this time, we were joined by friends Kristen & Andreas and spent the day exploring wine country in Dover and Sugarcreek, Ohio. The hilly, curvy & narrow roads are also home to Ohio’s Amish community.

I've spent many hours on these roads as a photojournalist and photographer. It is an area of Ohio I love and cherish. Rolling lush green hills, children playing in open lands, farmers planting, plowing, or otherwise tending their lands. It is a picturesque, slower-paced community and if you by chance take a tour, please be mindful of the buggies and Amish that have to share the narrow roads with cars, truck and semi’s (don't speed)!!!

Photographer, graphic designer, dog mom to Sawyer, Etsy shop owner, and solo traveler trying to make the most of the life I've been given. Life is too short to live in a cubicle. I get lost on backroads and share visual stories of the destinations I discover.
