Route 66: My Worst Fear Living Full-time in an RV

The day started out fantastic, found a couple of spots to stop and take some photos, then I took a break to fill up on gas and grab a bite to eat. When I got back to the RV, it wouldn’t start.

Worst fear. Stuck. Ignition would not turn over. The automatic step didn't move. Not sure what was going on. Had lights, AUX batteries had power. Nothing worked. No click, No turnover, nothing…. Finally decided to hit the two AUX battery switches on and off. The automatic step finally came down and I quickly ran to the drivers door and was able to start the RV.

"Betty Leroy" was more of a Leroy that day. I risked it and drove on to my next stop. At this point I still did not know what occurred and do eventually figure out the issue. Stress was at a high. I cried. Paced and finally relaxed enough to decide where I was going to stay for the night.
