It All Changed.
Fifteen days ago I woke with extreme ear pain. I can’t remember when the facial paralysis began. I just remember trying to talk and my face wasn’t acting right. On Wednesday, November 14th, I was diagnosed; It is called Ramsay Hunt Syndrome. This is my story.
Facing Ramsay Hunt Syndrome
It’s been 47 days since I was in the ER and developed Ramsay Hunt Syndrome. I was officially diagnosed on November 14th. I began treatments, 31 days ago. I’ve had one round of acupuncture and feel no change in how my face functions. I have moments of nerve reactions, but with no idea when it will end, all I can do is wait.
Just Keep Walking...just keep walking!
Recovering from Knee Replacement is not easy. You must always move. “No one saves us but ourselves. No one can and no one may. We ourselves must walk the path.” ~ Budda
Knee Replacement Chronicles
My first 10 days after getting Total Knee Replacement is definitely not a picnic in the park, a smooth ride, or a walk around the block. Choose your metaphor!
Living a Minimalist Life
That moment when you actually wake up. I mean actually WAKE-UP. Not just the climb out of bed in the morning…but that smack in the face, eyes-fly-open, and heart-racing wake-up! You will remember.
