The Grand Canyon was the National Park, that I knew I wanted to visit more than once. When I moved to LA, I had to stop here. When I left LA, I stopped again. This time I took the train!

Learning to travel at a slower pace, Route 66, is anything but fast. Twists, turns, rough roads, epic views, and a constant reminder that the world is moving way too fast.

If heights are not your thing, then skip hiking down, but if you can get past the fear and take in the gorgeous cliffside views and wander your way down the wooden steps then you will be in for a treat.

I am challenging myself to get out explore and hike in SoCal. I've spent the last 14 years dealing with a knee that refused to do its job. Last year I went through TKR, Total Knee Replacement. This is going to be my #summertoremember

I spent the last two weekends hiking in Lake Elsinore and Antelope Valley walking amongst the poppies and thousands of other people. While many stayed on trails and followed the path, others climbed down steep slopes and hillsides…i.e natural disasters.
